Medtronic iPort Advance 10 pack

I confirm I have consulted my healthcare professional regarding the use of iPort

Product Description

Please note: you must consult your healthcare professional before using iPort Advance

Do you skip insulin injections because of pain or discomfort, at the risk of your health and expense of your lifestyle?
Using i-Port Advance will help reduce the number of injections that puncture your skin with a needle - lessening pain, lowering anxiety and reducing inconvenience.*

The i-Port is applied with a virtually painless insertion, leaving a soft cannula under the skin and giving you a means to inject medications, with fewer punctures, over three days of normal activity (including showering, swimming and exercising). It is compatible with pens and syringes and can be used by children and adults.

How does it work?

There are 2 models of i-port available: a 6mm or 9mm cannula length. To use the i-Port you simply:
1. Pull back on the centre, place on skin and press both round indentations, then press center to ensure adhesion

2. After insertion, pull to remove inserter
3. Inject with standard pen or syringe.

Is the i-Port Advance right for you?
The i-Port Advance is designed for anyone that needs multiple daily doses of a subcutaneous medication - including children, adults and the elderly. Anyone who needs a regular injection from a syringe or pen, of medications that are administered under the skin (subcutaneous), can enjoy the relief and greater comfort provided by the i-Port unit.

The thickest needle size for use with either i-Port Advance is a 28 gauge needle (note: the smaller the gauge number, the thicker the needle). The maximum needle length is 8mm (minimum 5mm). Injection pens may be used with i-Port Advance® as long as the needle length does not exceed 8mm or is not shorter than 5mm.

i-Port Advance is a single use device and you will need to remove and properly dispose of the used device every 72 hours and replace with a new device on a different location of the body as needed.
